As a Teaching Assistant in Hackney, Greater London, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers in a classroom setting. Your main duties will include assisting with lesson preparation, supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), and helping with learning activities for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students. You will also be required to assist students with English, reading, and writing tasks.

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential.

• Strong understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Ability to support Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 learning activities
• Proficiency in English language, reading, and writing

Additional qualifications in education or related field would be beneficial.

This is a temporary position with full-time hours. You will be working in a school environment, supporting teachers and students during term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
