Looking to work in schools without the pressure of planning and marking?
Smile Education are currently recruiting Sports Coaches / Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the Leicester area with immediate and ongoing work available.
This role is perfect for sports coaches, graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain hands-on classroom experience within secondary schools.
🏫 The Role
- Supervising lessons using pre-set work provided by teaching staff
- Supporting PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities where required
- Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged
- Working across KS3 and KS4 within supportive secondary school settings
- Flexible opportunities available from 1–5 days per week

What We’re Looking For- Experience in sports coaching, PE, youth work, mentoring, or education
- Confident managing groups of students aged 11–16
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and proactive individuals
- School experience is helpful but not essential – support and guidance provided
