We are currently seeking a motivated Graduate Cover Supervisor to join our educational institution located in Oldham, Greater Manchester, North West England. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the school and ensuring a safe learning environment for students.

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to students in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Supervise and manage student behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Support the learning and development of students by providing extra help and guidance when necessary.
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons.
  • Ensure a safe and tidy classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage and diffuse challenging situations.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

No prior experience required. However, experience working with children or young adults would be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with the UK education system and curriculum.
  • Ability to adapt and deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects.
  • Understanding of effective classroom management strategies.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
