Cover Supervisor salary is Grade 4 Point 5-6 currently £19312-£19698 p.a. pro rata 

Teaching Personnel works in partnership with a growing and unique 11-16 mixed comprehensive Trust school located in Emsworth, graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted.  The school has high expectations for their students and their staff aim to provide the highest quality of education, in an environment where everyone is valued.

The school are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and inspirational Drama specialist for a part time position, to support students, providing quality, exciting and engaging lessons.  This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate of Drama, seeking a career in education or as a teacher.  Whilst you will be teaching Drama during timetabled lessons (up to 0.6 over 5 days per week), you would have the valuable opportunity to work as a cover supervisor for the remainder of the week, which involves supervision of the learning (not teaching) of students between the ages of 11 and 16 in any subject area when a teacher is absent from school. 

The position is suitable for an individual who is confident working with young people, flexible, well organised, with strong communication and inter-personal skills. Although initially a temporary position, this role could become permanent for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
