The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring learning continues in the absence of the classroom teacher.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Maintaining a focused and productive learning environment
• Supporting students to engage positively with their learning
• Providing additional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required
• Building positive and professional relationships with students and staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with secondary-aged students
• Is confident and adaptable in a classroom setting
• Has experience supporting students with SEN or additional needs
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can build positive relationships quickly
• Has a genuine passion for supporting young people
