We are seeking a confident, reliable, and motivated Cover Supervisor to oversee classes during teacher absence. As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you will manage the classroom, ensure pupils remain on task, and deliver pre-set lesson plans across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

• Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and learning materials

• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Promote good behaviour and engagement in line with school policies

• Support pupils with their learning and classroom tasks

• Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour

• Experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable

• Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities

• A proactive, professional, and flexible approach

• A degree or experience working with young people is advantageous
