A well-regarded secondary school in Farnborough is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2026.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, unqualified teachers, or experienced education support staff who are keen to develop their classroom skills and make a positive impact on students' learning.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson content, and maintaining a positive and focused learning environment across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Supervising whole classes during short- and long-term teacher absences

• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Supporting students with their learning where appropriate

• Providing feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes

• Be confident working with secondary-aged students

• Have strong communication and classroom management skills

• Be adaptable, organised, and proactive

• Hold a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)

• Have an interest in education or a future career in teaching
