Salary: £85 - £95 per day

  • Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Following the school's behaviour management policies
  • Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans provided by the teacher
  • Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for students
  • Reporting any issues or incidents to the appropriate staff members
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young adults
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Previous experience working with children or young adults

  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications
  • First Aid certification
  • Working in a school environment
  • Full-time hours on a contract basis
  • Potential for occasional additional duties or responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
