Cover Supervisor

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day

The Cover Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a productive and positive learning environment within the educational institution. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Managing student behaviour and ensuring a focused learning atmosphere
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to students
• Providing support to students in their learning activities
• Assisting with the maintenance of a safe and inclusive classroom environment

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and engage with students effectively

• A Level qualifications or equivalent

• Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable
• Experience in managing groups of students

• Strong understanding of classroom management techniques
• Effective communication skills with both students and staff
• Ability to follow and implement lesson plans

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

• Full-time hours, working on a contract basis
• Interaction with students and teaching staff
• Varied and dynamic educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
