We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis in Poynton, South Manchester. As a Cover Supervisor at Teaching Personnel - Manchester South Secondary branch, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities during teacher absences
  • Ensure students are engaged in learning tasks and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Manage student behaviour effectively using strong behaviour management skills
  • Support students with their learning, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills
  • Relevant Undergraduate Degree
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Cover Supervisor
  • Able to commute to Poynton, South Manchester
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Full-time position with regular working hours
  • Salary range of £95 - £102 per day
