Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Littlehampton area who are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable cover supervisor to start in September which may also have work availability for the rest of the summer term on an adhoc basis.

This school’s vision is 'to be an academy that secures excellent outcomes and provides life-enhancing experiences for all students'. The school require a candidate for a full-time role with the view to become permanent should they get on well.


This is a great opportunity for an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) as well as a teacher who holds QTS.  

As a cover supervisor you will be required to supervise students and cover lessons in the absence of a teacher. You will present pre planned lessons to students of key stage 3 and key stage 4 abilities.


A cover supervisor ensures students don’t fall behind in their classes during leaves of absence and allows them to stay engaged and motivated.

Previous experience within the education sector is essential to this role and the ideal candidate will be a patient and supporting individual who can perform various duties depending on the class and subjects they cover.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
