We are currently seeking an Adhoc General Cover Supervisor to join our team at a secondary school in West Southampton. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in various classrooms during teacher absences or other short-term vacancies.
  • Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Support students with their learning and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different subject areas and classroom settings.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning.
