Teaching Personnel are dedicated to assist local Secondary schools with Secondary Cover Teachers and support staff across Southampton & Hampshire. Our team of Secondary Cover Teachers have flexibility in their work schedule and get the opportunity to teach in a number of schools in the Southampton area, we work with a very large number of Secondary schools who require daily supply teachers to cover lessons across all key stages! As a cover teacher you may also be required for general cover meaning you'll teach varying subjects when needed.

As a supply teacher you will be expected to:

• Have previous experience within an educational setting

• Live within a good distance from Southampton

• Have a clear UK child only DBS on the update service or be willing to pay and apply for a new one through Teaching Personnel

• Confidently deliver lessons to full classes or small groups across all Secondary key stages

• Manage student behaviour within the classroom effectively

• Keep students engaged during lessons and adapt your teaching style quickly to varied levels of learners

You must also have previous experience within a school setting to be considered as a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
