We are currently working with secondary schools in the Bury area, where there is a high demand for Cover Supervisors due to schools reopening and experiencing a high volume of absences.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will support these schools by covering staffing absences and providing classroom support to students in KS3+4. This is an immediate start position with flexible work schedules, allowing you to earn a competitive rate of £12 per hour.

The Opportunity:

Working as a Cover Supervisor is a great way to gain school-based experience and enhance your CV. You will have the opportunity to take on the role of a teacher for the day, delivering set lessons left by absent teachers. This role requires strong behaviour management skills and the ability to support a class of 30+ students.

Depending on your availability, we can offer day-to-day work or a fixed block placement for up to one academic year.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A current DBS check or willingness to apply for one
