Cover Supervisor

A position has become available for a full time (temporary) Cover Supervisor at a school in East Manchester. The role will require being available Monday – Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm) with a start date of as soon as possible, lasting up until the end of the school year. Whilst the role is initially temporary, there is a possibility of it becoming permanent should the school require.

The school is situated near the city centre of Manchester and is a 5-minute walk from the nearest tram stop providing quick and easy commuting access from the city and surrounding areas. The role would involve providing general cover for a variety of lessons, the work would be provided, and the candidate would need to be able to confidently deliver it to a class. Candidates looking to gain valuable experience within a classroom setting before starting their teacher training would find this role very beneficial. Some requirements of the role are below:

• Strong behaviour management skills
• Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
• Experience and confidence within a classroom setting

The pay for the role ranges from £77 - £85 per day depending on experience level (based on a 6.5 hour working day). The candidate would be required to cover lessons in both KS3 and KS4. The schools is part of a highly reputable Trust with a fantastic executive leadership and has a very friendly and supportive staff network.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
