Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced and hardworking Cover Supervisors with a keen interest in developing their skills in teaching.

This role would be to work with students with varying abilities and some challenging behaviour, the school caters to pupils ages 11 - 16 years old.

Suitable candidates must be available Monday to Friday from September and be willing to travel to Salisbury or live within the local area.

You will be required to supervise whole classes during short-term absence of the teachers, you will also need to be able to use your initiative to support student learning throughout various classes when not required to cover lessons.

You will ideally:

  • Have a degree and/or relevant experience of working in a school setting.
  • Have recent experience of teaching or supporting in a classroom in the UK.
  • Be able to show good behaviour and classroom management skills.
  • Be happy to cover classes across Key stage 3 & 4.

You must have a clear Child Workforce DBS registered to the DBS Update Service or be willing to submit one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
