Teaching Personnel Essex Branch are seeking Cover Supervisors to join our growing and successful Secondary Staff Team. We are always on the hunt for budding Cover Supervisors and are seeking staff who are happy to go into Secondary Schools and/ or SEN Schools and Provisions throughout the summer term.
What is a Cover Supervisor?
Cover supervisors are suitably trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The cover supervisor’s main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.

What qualities do you need to become a Cover Supervisor?
Cover supervisors will have access to an online diary to manage their work availability. Work will be offered on a daily basis, and can be flexible but can also be offered on a full-time basis. The school day usually commences from 08:30am until 15:30pm, it is essential that you are available during these hours for this role to be suitable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
