The role

  • A full-time cover supervisor role starting after October half-term
  • Potential for permanent position within the school
  • The role entails covering different pre-planned lessons across the secondary school as required
  • The school is situated in central Newcastle and is easily accessible from Northumberland, Durham and surrounding areas
  • Pay £70-£90 per day depending on experience
  • The school is committed to creating an outstanding learning community where students excel in their academic, cultural, co-curricular and personal lives.
  • Diverse community of students


  • Willingness to get involved across any subjects
  • No prior teaching experience required however experience working with children is preferred
  • Good behaviour management
  • Child workforce DBS on the update service (if you do not already have one, we can help you apply)
