Details of the role:

  • £10.20 per hour
  • Weekly pay via PAYE (no agency fees)

Joining a school has a cover supervisor is the perfect way to gain the most valuable classroom experience. You will be responsible for teaching pre-set work to a full class of students when the main class teacher is absent. No subject knowledge is required.

Day to day duties include:

  • Managing a class of up to 30+ students
  • Working alongside teachers and senior leaders
  • Building strong and positive relationships with pupils
  • Teaching pre-set work
  • Ensuring learning is still continuing when the teacher is absent
  • Safeguarding pupils
