Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a number of client schools based in South Liverpool for Cover Supervisors.
A number of our client schools have contacted Teaching Personnel to highlight a requirement for Cover Supervisors due to increased staff absence as a result of Covid-19 implications.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is to carry out and distribute pre-set work in the absence of the main class teacher. The most important aspect of the role is behaviour management, ensuring the students complete the preassigned work in line with the school’s behavioural standards.
The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level with experience as either a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant within Secondary Schools. Any experience working with children in a youth work, tuition or sports coaching capacity is also beneficial.
The role will be for immediate start, although it is subject to a DBS check, right to work UK authorisation so relevant documentation must be provided.
For immediate consideration, please send an updated CV/Cover letter to Dominic via the link below or contact the Liverpool Branch for further information.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
