This is a great opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience prior to applying for a teacher training programme.

  • Full-time, part-time, and flexible cover supervisor positions available in secondary schools across Bolton.
  • Work as much or as little as you like – this role can also fit around other requirements.
  • Work available immediately.
  • Earn up to £350 per week.
  • Delivering pre-set work and leading classing in the absence of teachers.
  • Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas.

Application requirements

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Any experience with children or young people is desirable with specific experience in the education sector being ideal.
  • You do not need a teaching qualification.

Within this role the successful applicants will hold several responsibilities including covering a range of classes with pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability. You will be covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers with all work being provided beforehand. You be simply be supervising the lesson, ensuring all pupils complete the tasks set whilst promoting positive behaviour management.

Our client secondary schools are in Bolton and can be accessed via the M62 motorway and several forms of public transport from areas such as Bury, Worsley, Salford and central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
