Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools (Unqualified Teaching)

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT)
Pay: £120 per day

⌛Hours: 8:30AM – 3:30PM (Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available)

We're working with a number of secondary schools across and the surrounding areas and are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support pupils and staff. You do not need to be a qualified teacher for this role. If you have the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a positive work ethic, we'll provide the training and support needed to help you succeed.

The Role

So, what is a Cover Supervisor? A Cover Supervisor is responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the lesson.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies and procedures
• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils stay focused on their learning
• Taking registers and accurately reporting absences
• Adapting quickly to changes in your daily timetable
• Building positive relationships with students and staff
• Maintaining a safe and productive learning environment

Who You Are

• Has a genuine interest in education and working with young people
• Is confident communicating with large groups of students
• Possesses natural leadership qualities
• Has a sporting, coaching, mentoring, or youth work background
• Is a graduate, undergraduate, or educated to A-Level standard
• Can remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a classroom environment
