A welcoming specialist provision in Weymouth is seeking a caring and motivated Classroom Assistant to join its dedicated support team on a part-time basis from September 2026, with the potential for an earlier start for suitable candidates.
This rewarding opportunity involves supporting pupils with additional learning needs within a positive and nurturing educational environment. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help students access lessons, engage with classroom activities, and build confidence throughout the school day.
Key duties may include:

The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting young people within education.
Previous experience in childcare, youth mentoring, tutoring, support work, sports coaching, residential care, or schools would be advantageous, although applicants with transferable skills and a genuine passion for helping others are strongly encouraged to apply.
